现实品茶味，浪漫喝咖啡。上海作为最早的通商口岸之一，早早地便有了咖啡文化，其中以外国人聚居的南京路最为著名。上世纪30年代的南京路上还没有多少摩天大楼，最多见的是鳞次栉比的咖啡馆，这些咖啡馆如今大多都如一场繁华春梦一般消失在时光里，但是仍有一些咖啡馆还是记忆里的模样。

Shanghai, is one of the earliest commercial ports in China, therefore, the city enjoys a rich coffee culture. Coffee shops were established on Nanjing Road as early as 1930s!

凯司令咖啡馆

Kaisiling Café

张爱玲真真是爱极了“凯司令”咖啡馆。不仅自己常常和友人一同来吃，更是把它写进了书里。在《色戒》中，王佳芝最后关头借用的就是“凯司令”的电话，发出了刺杀暗号。

Eileen Chang, one of China’s most influential writers, loved Kaisiling Café so much that she mentioned the Café in her novels. In her famous work, Lust and Caution, many scenes take place in Kaisiling.

In Zhang Garden, there are several bars and restaurants. One of the most popular bars is the first Southeastern Asian colony-styled bar in China, Starling. Its experienced bartender group and delicious drink is the perfect way to relax after a tough day in the office. There is also the Turkish Restaurant “Black Pepper” and "Taste&See", whose head chef is a classically trained chef with experience in a Michelin-starred restaurant. Seafood lovers could find their favorite dishes at Petit. Find your favourite bar or restaurant at Zhang Garden! 

南京西路有一块黄金三角地带，它显现了上海西区上层社会的消闲格局，情味很多，故事也很多。只有在那个时代那个地方看过戏看过电影、或者跳过舞、或听过书的人，才是后来所称谓的老克勒。

There is a place called the “Golden Triangle” on West Nanjing Lu. It was where the old elites of Shanghai spent their leisure time. During that era, people could watch movies, dance, watch performances, and eat at the Golden Triangle. The people that spent their time there were affectionately called “Lao Ke Le" or "Old Klein”.

The “Old Klein” lived a cozy life and were often expats from Western countries. They would spend time in the Grand Theater or relax in the hotel lobbies.
