社情说 | 他游历世界，用摄影记录真相 Meet a truth seeking photographer

当裸心社邀请我去采访张梁时，我就好奇一个摄影师能有多有趣。事实证明，还真是有趣有料。

When naked Hub asked me to interview Zhang Liang, I seriously wondered how interesting a photographer can be. Well, very interesting, it turns out.

张梁是一个真相追求者。镜头后面是一个孤独的位置——摄影师永远都只是一个传递信息的人，而不是焦点本身。他走遍世界，探寻并分享了大多数人看不到的真相。对他来说，从风景地貌到人物肖像，真相最重要。

Zhang Liang is a truth seeker, and it’s a lonely position to be in, behind the lens, always the messenger; never the news. He has travelled the world to find and share the truths most people don’t get to see. From haunting landscapes to honest portraits of people, for Zhang Liang, the truth is everything. 

正如我们后面将要看到的，正是对真相的信仰，把张梁推到了全国的聚光灯下，推到了与中国最大的明星之一的口角中。接下来我们先谈谈张梁自己。

And it’s this belief in the truth that thrust Zhang Liang into the national spotlight and into a spat with one of China’s biggest stars, as we’ll see later. Now, let’s find out more about Zhang Liang.

我询问了张梁摄影的灵感，还有他照片叙述的故事。

I asked Zhang Liang for his inspiration to be a photographer and for his photo’s narrative.

“没有任何一种创意媒体像摄影一样直接，而我喜欢这个挑战。我原喜欢写作，但不喜欢的是我有机会审查和编辑我的创造力。

“There is no other creative medium that is as direct as photography, and I love the challenge that poses. I used to love writing, but I didn’t like that I had a chance to review and edit my creativity.

我说这句话的意思是，我在拍摄的时候，故事和叙述都自己呈现在我的面前——我并不是诉说故事，只是抓住了它，然后将其呈现出来。

This means that when I’m doing photography, the story, the narrative, comes out at me – I don’t tell the story, I just capture it.”

我让张梁挑选出几张最有意义的照片，并告诉我理由。

I asked Zhang Liang for his three most meaningful photos and the reasons behind them.

第一张是张梁最喜欢的照片——他在外滩拍到从巴黎飞回来的爱马仕团。这无关虚荣，无关商业，只是纯粹的快乐。

My favourite photo – I photographed the entire Hermes team, who’d flown in from Paris, at the Bund. There’s nothing fake about it, nothing commercial, just pure happiness. 

第二张是张梁的成名作——这张照片在2013年广泛传播，使他成名（许多媒体，包括赫芬顿邮报和红迪网都收录了这张照片）。 这是奥运体操运动员颜明永和妻子马秋菁的婚纱照。 她的优雅美丽与他强壮而轻松的姿态形成了鲜明对比，引发了很多人的想象。

Made me famous  – This is the photo that in 2013 went viral and made me famous (it got picked up by a lot of media including The Huffington Post and Reddit). It’s a wedding photo of Olympic gymnast Yan Mingyong and his wife Ma Qiujing. The contrast between her graceful beauty and his strong yet relaxed pose really captured a lot of people’s imaginations.

第三张最能代表张梁自己——因为其强大的景观和微小的生物之间的巨大反差，这是他最喜欢的照片。从某种意义上说，这是他早期的写照，当他第一次摄影的时候，整个世界都在他的脚下。

Best represents me – This is my favourite photo because of the huge contrast between the vast and powerful landscape and the tiny living beings. In a way, it’s a portrayal of my beginnings, when I first started, with a whole world of unknowns at my feet. 

第四张代表张梁的理想——这张照片让他成为全国的焦点，片中男子是中国最红的明星之一，薛之谦和他的女朋友。这是一场真实事故的照片。它没有美得如诗如画，却彰显了真相。

Represents my ideals – This photo put me, as a person, into the national spotlight, as it’s of one of China’s biggest celebrities, Joker Xue, and his girlfriend. It’s a photograph of an actual accident, and it’s not picturesque portrayal, but rather a celebration of truth.

作为摄影师，张梁包里的工具和他的职业密不可分。“我有两套设备; 一套日常用，出门一定带，另一套则是旅行时带的。

As a photographer, Zhang’s tools are his trade. “I have two sets of equipment; my daily carry which I never leave home without, and my travel carry for trips.

日常设备：徕卡M相机，35毫米镜头，50毫米镜头，iPhone X，iPad，笔记本电脑，耳机和茶袋。旅行设备：日常设备加上徕卡246相机，另一个的50毫米镜头和90毫米镜头。”

Daily: Leica M camera, 35mm lens, 50mm lens, iPhone X, iPad, notebook, earphones and teabags. Travel: Same as daily plus Leica 246 camera, additional 50mm lens and a 90mm lens.”

我很好奇为什么张先生没有摄影工作室，因此在采访时也问了他这个问题。

I’m curious why Zhang Liang, as a photographer, doesn’t have a studio.

“我在湖南路裸心社办公，因为我一直都在这边生活。我的大部分时间都是在办公室外面度过的，所以实际上并不需要一间工作室，而且这个区域租金真的很贵。裸心社的氛围非常有活力，很有生机。裸心社的App也非常有用，我也经常在上面发图。”

“I’m at Hunan Lu naked Hub because I’ve always been based in this area. Most of my time is spent outside of the office so I don’t actually need a studio, and rent in this area is really expensive. naked Hub’s atmosphere is so energetic, and it’s really motivating. The naked Hub App has been really useful as well, and I often post photos there.”

接下来，让张梁给那些想成为真正摄影师的人分享些技巧。

I ask Zhang Liang for tips on people who want to be serious photographers.

每个被拍者都有它自己的故事，每个摄影师都会发现不同的故事。不管你如何拍照，你都必须找到被拍者的真相。如果你真的爱摄影，那么找个老师从学徒做起。摄影技术是需要时间炼成的。

Each subject has its own story, and each photographer finds a different story. No matter how you take a picture, you must always find the truth about the subject.  If you’re really serious about photography, then be an apprentice to a teacher; good photography takes time. 

拍照时要恭敬有礼，但也不用害怕——好的摄影师可以在别人不经意间抓拍。记住，如果你不是顶尖高手，拍摄的时候光最好在你的后面。

Be respectful when taking photos, but don’t be afraid to take pictures either – a good photographer can take a photo without even being noticed. And for those who are not yet professional, remember to have the light behind you when you take a shot!”
